We’re seeking a Lead Commercial Project Estimator / Roofing Estimator to spearhead our estimating department, ensuring precision, efficiency, and compliance with the latest building codes and specifications.

Your Role:

As the department lead, you’ll oversee junior estimators, review project estimates for accuracy, and guide the team towards implementing cutting-edge technologies that enhance our bidding process. Your expertise in various roofing systems, building codes, and specifications will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the estimating department and mentor junior estimators.
• Review and approve project estimates for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Develop and implement processes and technologies to improve estimating efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and roofing systems to maintain competitive advantage.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in commercial roofing estimation and a thorough understanding of roofing systems.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, specifications, and industry standards.
• Exceptional organizational and process-oriented skills.
• Leadership ability to mentor and guide a team effectively.
• Familiarity with advanced estimating software and technology tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and client interaction.
• Must be available to commute to Hampton, VA daily or willing to relocate. This is an in-office position.
