This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Manager at Tidewater Safety Shoes Svc Inc in Newport News, VA. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing office operations, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring excellent customer service on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proficiency in Office Administration and Administrative Assistance
- Knowledge of Office Equipment operation
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in retail or similar industry is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred
- Quickbooks-1 year required
- Microsoft Office-1 year required
- Office experience, Bookkeeping-3 year required
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain timely and accurate AP invoices
- Record incoming AR invoices
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Daily entry of sales figures, expenses, and liabilities
- Maintain orderly filing and records storage for vendors and HR purposes
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Processing payments, billing, and payroll
