Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.
We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager position for our Merrimac Campus location. This position is responsible for management of administrative staff and routine office operations to include data input, reception, billing, and other administrative duties necessary to support clinical operations.
Job Responsibilities- Supervision of administrative staff, including quality of data input into the electronic health record, collection of fees, and administrative support for clinical services.
- Complete and monitor scheduling of all administrative staff to ensure appropriate coverage. Serves as back up in all areas of program support on campus as required with answering agency phones, screening calls, providing information, and/or referring calls to appropriate parties and collection of fees.
- Responsible for training and/or arranging training of all administrative staff.
- Enters data to support billing for residential and psychosocial rehabilitation services.
- Processes and distributes mail across the agency.
- Opens all mail related to payments, logs in checks and makes bank deposits.
- Other duties as assigned
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary based on program needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to provide training and supervise staff.
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
- Ability to effectively and tactfully communicate and work with agency staff, callers, public, and program consumers with special regard for the disabilities served.
- Knowledge of MH/DD/SU disabilities, case management and outpatient counseling services, crisis services, information and referral processes.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
- Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving required.
- At least one year of experience supervising staff and operating automated data required.
