Financial Controller (Construction)

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful premier General Contractor in the Greater Las Vegas, NV on their search for a Construction Controller to join their team.

Project Types: General Construction; Entertainment, Retail, Restaurant, Hospitality, Casino, Commercial (Ground-Up/Renovations)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing financial policies
• Overseeing the accounting staff
• Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations
• Preparing and managing budgets
• Managing financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Handling preparation for tax returns
• Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits
• Assisting with corporate financial decisions

Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in Construction Management or Accounting
• Must have experience working for a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Owner/Developer
• 5 years in a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager position
• MUST have experience in both QuickBooks & Procore
