Tiello has partnered with a leading Mechanical contractor who is in the need of a mechanical project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial electrical projects.
This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the successful completion of electrical projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The Mechanical Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards.
Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager (industrial)
Project Types: manufacturing, distribution, power plants
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Lead and manage project teams.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have the resources and training they need to succeed.
- Hold regular meetings to review progress, identify issues, and ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
- Budgeting & Cost Control
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or related field.
- 5 years of management experience in the mechanical construction space
- Experience with Industrial projects
- In-depth knowledge of codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to visit construction sites and manage on-site teams.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. (as required by site conditions).
Additional Information
- Occasional travel to project sites may be required.
