Project Accounting Coordinator

Position Overview:

As a key member of the team, you will manage and oversee all billing and project accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency. Your role will involve developing and maintaining detailed project reporting systems, coordinating with project managers and Principals to meet financial goals, and conducting quality audits to ensure best practices in billing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and monitoring all billing and project accounting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards for real-time project reporting.
• Collaborating with project managers and Principals to track performance and achieve billing and financial targets.
• Conducting quality audits on billing to ensure best practices and timely resolution of account issues.
• Developing project management reports and coordinating with both project managers and senior leadership.
• Setting up and maintaining projects in accounting software, including budgeting, tracking, and financial reporting.

What You Bring:

• At least 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Deltek, Unanet, Sage, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Experience with ERP implementation.
• Experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, or similar professional services industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
