On behalf of our esteemed client, we are seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting innovative projects within the EdTech domain. This 6-month contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful educational solutions while working remotely in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
The Business Analyst (EdTech) will be instrumental in planning, collecting, and analyzing software requirements to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. With a focus on collaboration, this role requires a leader who can bridge technical and business needs, manage project backlogs, and support teams through the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and establish business analysis activities to support software development projects.
- Collect and analyze software requirements, transforming them into high-quality BA artifacts (Vision & Scope, Use Case Diagrams, requirements documentation).
- Conduct impact analyses to assess project implications.
- Maintain and improve requirements management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in client meetings, presenting features, gathering feedback, and discussing functionality.
- Manage project backlogs and lead team scrum activities to ensure smooth progress.
- Provide support to development and QA teams during the implementation of new functionalities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams or leading initiatives.
- Strong expertise in gathering, formalizing, and regulating requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to create key project artifacts (user stories, use cases, etc.).
- Proficiency in bug-tracking systems and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills with an Upper-Intermediate level of English.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and solve complex problems.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of the EdTech domain and its unique requirements.
- Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts and implementation.
- Understanding of web application architecture and related technologies.
- Experience documenting requirements for multiple application suites.
- Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and SOC2 compliance.
