Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Preschool Tumbling Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, fostering their love for gymnastics while focusing on building basic tumbling skills. This role is essential for creating a fun and engaging environment where children can learn coordination, strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct preschool tumbling classes for children ages 2-5 years old.
- Teach basic tumbling skills, including forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and beginner jumps.
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on fun, safety, and skill progression.
- Encourage positive reinforcement and ensure children feel confident and supported in their learning.
- Ensure the class area is set up with proper equipment and safety mats.
- Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized class area, following gym safety and cleanliness guidelines.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to provide the best experience for students and their families.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, especially in a preschool or gymnastics setting.
- Knowledge of basic tumbling and gymnastics skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a nurturing and fun environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for gymnastics.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
