Position: Data Center Administrator (DCA)
Location: Richmond, VA - onsite
Contract Duration: Through August 2025
W2 Contract Hourly Rate: $50/hour
Shift: Primarily 1st shift with occasional 3rd shift during critical implementations
*NO C2C OR 3RD PARTY EMPLOYERS*
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Install, remove, test, and label fiber/copper structured cabling systems
✔️ Manage network test access point (TAP) surveillance
✔️ Rack and unrack equipment as needed
✔️ Coordinate vendor activities and manage service tickets
✔️ Maintain data center’s physical and environmental health
✔️ Oversee orchestration and migration of infrastructure connections
✔️ Serve as SME for Gigamon infrastructure
📋 Qualifications:
✅ Strong understanding of fiber/copper structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure
✅ Experience in enterprise data center environments
✅ Knowledge of IT, telecom, network, storage, and security hardware
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Visio)
✅ Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
