Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrating complex and disparate data sources into clean, tested, and reusable datasets.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, leveraging profiling methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Define and maintain best practices for data transformation, format standardization, and attribute consistency.
- Follow engineering best practices, including CI/CD, unit testing, performance optimization, and automation.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Architecture team to ensure high-quality, well-structured data models.
- Maintain clear, effective documentation of data processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with PII regulations and internal risk policies.
- Design and implement scalable, reusable Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) dimensional models.
- Mentor junior team members, guiding dbt technology and data engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in DBT is required.
- 4 years of SQL experience, with strong knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
- Experience with Python and shell scripting is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of Tableau and data visualization best practices.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies (e.g., S3, EMR).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with dimensional data modeling (star schemas).
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
