Junior Accountant

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily accounting activities to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
- Conduct monthly flux and trend analyses to identify and explain variances in financial statement data.
- Manage month-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and uploading results into the corporate ERP system.
- Perform and review account reconciliations, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions and resolve aging items.
- Provide support for internal and external audits, as well as external financial reporting requirements.
- Evaluate existing SOX controls for effectiveness, implementing new controls where needed, and updating process documentation in collaboration with business process owners.
- Stay informed about evolving financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance across all accounting activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Internship experience at a leading/enterprise FinTech company
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
