What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager position at Tierra Encantada?
The ideal candidate will have experience providing data-driven guidance to leaders on the Company's financial performance and new growth opportunities. In addition you'll be responsible for being able to quickly synthesize information, distill important information and tell a compelling story. You'll also be a part of a dynamic team that is enabling and accelerating Tierra Encantada's strategic plan.
- Financial Planning: Responsible for creating financial models to support budgeting and forecasting and analyzing financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage the budgeting process including coordinating with business leaders
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Monthly Analyses: Perform monthly close analysis to facilitate understanding of monthly results against the financial plan; Produce monthly financial summaries for the Board of Directors
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business leaders to understand financial needs
- Help leadership with ad-hoc requests
- Leverage technology and conduct process improvement activities
Position Requirements
- 3 years of experience in finance or investment banking
- Franchising experience a plus
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, Power BI, and other technology tools
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting internally and externally across a range disciplines and all levels of management.
- Ability to use data analysis to develop insights that drive client value.
- Capable of multi-tasking across projects of varying scope and complexity.
- Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, able to adapt on the fly.
- Ability to influence and drive consensus across organizational functional areas.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA or CMA a plus
- Experience with business intelligence and/or planning and budgeting software applications

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range is $90,000 - $100,000 depending on qualifications, education, and experience. Tierra Encantada offers the standard benefits in addition to 6-week parental leave, discounted childcare and waitlist priority for enrollment, flexible work environment, and employee-focused events (annual family event, company happy hours, team outings, quarterly lunch & learns, employee holiday party). Once a job offer has been accepted, the candidate must pass a credit and background check. E-verify is used to verify work authorization status.
