Job Title: Golf Course Groundskeeper
Location: Tierra Oaks Golf Club – Redding, CA
Pay Rate:$17/hr - $22/hr, DOE (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Position Summary:
Tierra Oaks Golf Club is seeking a hardworking and reliable Groundskeeper to join our golf course maintenance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the appearance, playability, and overall condition of the course. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and thrives in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using various equipment.
- Rake bunkers, repair divots, and maintain course cleanliness.
- Operate small machinery and tools such as trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles.
- Assist with irrigation, fertilization, and pest control tasks as directed.
- Perform basic landscape maintenance around the clubhouse and course.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.
- Work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course maintenance preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate lawn and turf equipment safely (training provided).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
