What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transactional Real Estate Paralegal/Legal Assistant position at Tiffany & Bosco, P.A.?
Our firm is looking for a transactional real estate paralegal/legal assistant. The ideal candidate:
- Will have 2 years of experience in real estate, particularly in commercial real estate transactions;
- Will be able to prepare initial drafts of transactional real estate documents (e.g., owner’s affidavits, FIRPTA certificates, assignments, and easements);
- Will have some corporate law experience (e.g., preparing initial drafts of operating agreements, forming entities, and drafting corporate resolutions);
- Will be able to handle both administrative tasks (e.g., running conflict checks, preparing engagement letters, opening files, and tasks related to billing) and substantive, billable paralegal work;
- Will be self-motivated and have the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision;
- Will have strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Will have strong written and oral communication skills;
- Will be well-versed in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications;
- Will be responsive, proactive, and reliable; and
- Will have the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
