Job Description:
Join our award-winning studio is looking for a Gymnastics, Tumbling, Acro Instructor/Coach, to inspire young minds to achieve new heights in physical fitness and skill development. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching tumbling and acro classes to a diverse range of age groups, spanning from 18 months to 18 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various age groups and skill levels.
2. Provide expert instruction in gymnastics, tumbling, and acrobatics techniques, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
3. Evaluate and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve and achieve their goals.
4. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during classes, adhering to established safety guidelines and protocols.
5. Collaborate with fellow instructors and coaches to enhance the overall studio experience for students and parents.
6. Stay informed about current trends and advancements in gymnastics, tumbling, and acro, integrating innovative approaches into your teaching methods.
7. Encourage a love for physical activity and skill development, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among participants.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in coaching gymnastics, tumbling, or acro, with a strong understanding of teaching techniques suitable for various age groups.
2. Certification in gymnastics coaching or related field is highly desirable but not necessary.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
4. Passion for working with children and fostering their physical and emotional development.
5. Strong organizational skills to effectively plan and execute lessons.
