We're looking for an analytics professional from the banking and financial services industry, with Policy development & documentation, and Complian & Risk Management experience. The role would be for a Risk SME and they would build out Standards and Policy. We are seeking a team member with multi-year 2LOD (Second Line of Defense) experience for an AI Governance Risk project. The team member will develop, document, and maintain organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities
Policy Development & Documentation:
- Research, write, and maintain clear, concise, and compliant policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure policies align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information, validate requirements, and finalize policies.
- Standardize documentation format and maintain version control.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure policies meet legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Work with risk and compliance teams to assess the impact of new or updated regulations.
- Assist in policy audits and revisions to address gaps or risks.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with department leaders, legal teams, and risk managers to develop relevant policies.
- Conduct policy review sessions and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
- A detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, research, and writing skills to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- A multi-year 2LOD (Second Line of Defense) experience is required
- Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Experience with Compliance and Risk Management including but not limited to, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements of policies, and experience assessing the impact of new or updated regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication experience
- Experience conducting policy review sessions and gathering feedback for improvements
