Our client, a major financial services company in NYC is seeking an SEC reporting analyst. Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and filing quarterly and annual reports (10-Q, 10-K) in compliance with SEC and other regulatory requirements.
- Work on researching, interpreting, and implementing new SEC reporting requirements and accounting principles.
- Maintain and document appropriate internal controls and procedures for financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance.
- Assist in preparation of earnings releases and investor presentations.
- Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits with external auditors.
- Support Manager in various ad-hoc projects related to financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA designation is a plus
- 2 years of public accounting experience performing audits of SEC registered clients
- Experiene in Big Four highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of SEC reporting requirements and US GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically in Excel; familiarity with financial reporting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high quality work.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
