Role Overview:
Site Leads oversee operations at client-serving facilities that provide temporary housing and essential resources to migrants seeking asylum in the United States. They are responsible for ensuring the safe distribution of meals, maintaining food quality, and fostering a welcoming environment. Site Leads lead by example, supervising team members and upholding Tigerwood’s commitment to excellence, professionalism, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of 6–10 site members, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to food safety protocols.
- Monitor and record food temperatures to comply with health and safety standards.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
- Oversee the distribution of meals, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Quickly address operational challenges and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the site, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and supervisors to ensure clear and respectful interactions.
- Enforce safety protocols and perform routine checks to address potential hazards.
- Report inventory discrepancies, maintenance needs, or operational issues to the Manager.
- Step in to perform hands-on tasks or cover shifts as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
- A valid Food Handler's Certificate is required.
- Eligible to work in the United States and be 18 years of age or older.
- 1 years of experience leading a team or 2 years of customer service experience (food and beverage experience preferred).
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Passionate about training, developing, and empowering team members.
- Skilled in de-escalating issues and resolving customer concerns professionally.
- Hands-on and proactive in leadership and problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, with the willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Support additional projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
