Project Environmental Scientist

Where would you step in? As a valuable member of our Environment Business Line, you will join an experienced team of Licensed Environmental Professionals (LEPs), project managers, environmental scientists, hazardous building materials and demolition specialists, permitting and wetlands specialists, and engineers. You can sit in our Worcester office with a hybrid approach to wo Our Environment Team and Projects Our Environment group is over 100 strong throughout our Northeast offices. The work we do cov site assessment, remediation, hazardous building materials management, building demolition, wetland science, regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, and other ways we can support client work with state and local governments, utilities, private clients, industry, colleges, and hospitals. What will you be doing? You will have a mix of environmental site assessment field work that may include drilling oversigh remedial observation, and environmental sampling and remediation system monitoring. Office w will include assisting with environmental data review and interpretation and report writing. You will also be asked to assist with the preparation of environmental work plans, assessment reports, and remedial action plans, which will provide valuable career experience. What do you need? You will need at over three years of experience doing environmental consulting work. Experience with technical report preparation and project-level support is preferred. A BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or Engineering. You also need OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification and valid driver?s license, a good driving record, and your own transportation. Experience performing fie work and data analysis is also helpful.
