Position Summary: The successful candidate will need to guard and protect property. This person's duties involve serving at a fixed post, making rounds on foot or by motor vehicle, or escorting persons. May help visitors and customers by answering questions and giving directions. Will ensure that emergencies and security violations are quickly discovered and reported. May include long hours, flex shifts and outdoor conditions (heat, rain, snow, wind etc.).
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring activities
- Protect controlled area(s)
- Record names of individuals requesting access
- Log vehicles entering and leaving site
- Grant or deny access
- Escorting visitors
- Other duties, as needed

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time/part-time position. Days and hours of work will vary due to requirements.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day. May require some off-site travel.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to receive a Security Clearance
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
Additional Qualifications:
- Comfortable with and able to communicate effectively
- Possess the ability to complete and deliver required work, with minimal supervision
- Focused/observant of your surroundings
Preferred: Current DOD Clearance
