Creative Lab is TikTok’s culture and innovation consultancy for brands and creative companies. We help brands start the next big thing on TikTok.

About the Team

community, generate hype and build fandom.

About You
You are a thinker and a do-er. You are immersed in culture and pride yourself on mining for critical insights that help change the game. You are both right-brain and left-brain, and are
actively developing your fluency on upcoming trends as well as research and data.
You are someone with a knack for both creative execution and strategy. Someone with enthusiasm for what is happening in culture. Someone who approaches the work with a hunger for problem-solving and a desire to imagine the possibilities for clients on our platform.

You know that team work makes the dream work and are ready to roll up your sleeves. You have an appetite for learning, a hunger for a start-up environment and aren’t afraid to experiment. You respect vision and know the sum of all parts equals the whole, because you know that great work takes partnership. Above all else, you’re obsessed with TikTok and our creator community.

Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with Lead Creative Strategists and Creative Strategy Director to consult
clients and design and create custom creative solutions
  • Ensuring that deliverables consistently meet Creative Lab vision and business goals
  • Ability to translate client objectives, audience data and cultural trends into meaningful
insights and creative programs for our clients
  • A great storyteller who can work closely with teammates, cross-functional partners and agencies to inspire TikTok-first thinking. You must enjoy getting your hands dirty, building work and prototyping ideas.
  • A strategy specialist that can connect clients’ business and marketing goals to compelling
insights-driven creative opportunities
  • Contribute to playbooks, guides and creative inspiration for the platform
  • Assist in driving clients toward case-study level work
  • 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong strategy game - you ideate original concepts with a strong foundation (insights!) and
build presentation decks that get brands and creative agencies excited about your ideas
  • Strong culture game – you’re immersed in entertainment media, but have a knack for
knowing what’s happening underground; you are passionate about pushing culture forward on TikTok
  • A curious thinker who is passionate about cultural trends and all things creative,
  • Great presentation game - you are comfortable presenting and speaking with clients
  • Writing skills on point
  • Research nerd
