Within Trust & Safety, the Policy Center of Excellence (COE) is a central pillar of the Product Policy team, standardizing best practices and supporting policy transparency, strategy development, team coordination, knowledge management, and business operations.

As a Policy Program Manager within the T&S Policy Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for driving strategic cross-policy programs, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Product Policy team, and facilitating the achievement of essential business and policy goals. You will support the Policy Development worksteam, overseeing processes related to to the creation and enhancement of policies, as well as the orchestration of cross-policy working groups. You will help develop streamlined and coordinated cross-team processes aimed at enhancing the efficiency and scalability of policy development across all features and products. In addition, you will help shape team strategy and execute objectives using complex project management, crossfunctional collaboration, and data-driven decision making.

The Policy Program Manager will be a skillful problem-solver with strong organizational skills given the evolving needs of the team. You will collaborate closely with Policy leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive the advancement of initiatives aimed at implementing programs that not only enhance safety but also foster greater trust in our company.

Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
  • Support development of annual roadmap and quarterly OKRs for Policy Development
  • Drive cross-policy working groups in executing annual roadmap, fostering a collaborative approach
  • Develop new systems and processes to enhance cross-policy collaboration
  • Help define new operational strategies and opportunities
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Develop a change management process and deploy tools to expedite the adoption of any changes
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication transparent regarding project blockers and decision making
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle
  • Facilitate "continuous-improvement exercises" to understand how policies are performing, align on future iterations, inform process improvements, and promote iterative best practices
  • Build and develop relationships with policy colleagues and key XFN partners for increased
efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations
Qualifications
What should I bring with me?
  • 6 years of experience in program and/or project management
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines
  • Willingness to continuously learn and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as policy, legal, operations, global business and product
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Knowledge of mainstream video-sharing products, social media platforms and/or Trust & Safety
  • Experience at a fast-growing tech company and/or a global company
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
  • Proven success in a project management role
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
Preferred qualifications
  • Project management certification (PMI, PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2)
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $113777 - $206888 annually.



Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
