About the Team:
The Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team's work spans across a broad and diverse range of functions and work-streams, including government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships; and philanthropy. The mission of the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team is to develop and advocate for solutions for pressing high technology issues and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business.

Responsibilities:Policy Development & Advocacy:
  • Develop and drive the company’s positions on hate speech, ensuring alignment with global regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Spearhead long-term policy strategies that position the company as an industry leader in combating online hate speech.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to evolving regulations, proposed legislation, international standards, and regulatory risks, identifying key risk areas related to content moderation and online hate speech policy.
  • Advocate for the company’s policy stances by engaging with senior policymakers, global regulatory bodies, multilateral organizations, industry groups, and civil society organizations to influence legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee the development of white papers, policy frameworks, and internal company guidance to ensure consistent positioning and alignment across global markets.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including advocacy groups, government agencies, and industry peers, while serving as a subject matter expert on antisemitism and hate speech in internal and external meetings, including briefings with senior leadership.
  • Lead engagement with regulatory bodies and coordinate internal efforts to align policy strategy, support advocacy initiatives, and ensure effective implementation.
Internal Collaboration:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, trust & safety, communications, and product, to develop and implement hate speech policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving reporting, content moderation, and enforcement strategies.
  • Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on policy priorities, emerging trends, and best practices, while mentoring other team members on public policy frameworks and stakeholder engagement.
Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze hate speech trends, focusing on antisemitic content, and provide data-driven insights to inform policy decisions.
  • Deliver regular regulatory reports, conduct risk assessments, and provide strategic recommendations on emerging threats to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
  • Extensive experience in public policy, government relations, or advocacy, with at least 5 years focusing on hate speech, antisemitism, or related issues.
  • Deep understanding of content moderation policies, regulatory frameworks, and the social impact of hate speech and antisemitism in digital and social media.
  • Proven experience working with government officials, NGOs, and industry stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with social media or tech platforms on online safety and content moderation.
  • Familiarity with international laws and policies on hate speech, antisemitism, and digital rights.
  • Background in grassroots advocacy and global stakeholder engagement.
Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $198000 - $367200 annually.



Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.



Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).

Salary : $198,000 - $367,200
