About the Role
TikTok is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in our US Ecommerce team on a variety of Operations Strategy initiatives and projects. You will have an immediate impact on TikTokShop US operations team; improving productivity via streamlining initiatives, overseeing key strategic projects and facilitating efficient cross-function operations. Your interest and professional expertise are related to workflow management, building cross-functional collaboration, communications, project management, and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, who is a strong owner, and able to deliver results in an ambiguous environment. They will think strategically and long-term, being able to pinpoint the most valuable business opportunities and identify areas for improvement. Having effective and clear communication skills, especially in conveying strategic plans through written documentation, are vital. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a track record of successfully driving complex projects and initiatives while effectively managing senior stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88920 - $144400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Responsibilities
- Developing deep knowledge across all e-commerce creator operations building
- Building close relationships with all cross-functional partners to understand respective business units and priorities
- Identify new/existing opportunities to improve operational strategies, drive efficiency and increase productivity
- Establish best in class frameworks for cross functional ways of working
- Project manages strategic business initiatives and projects:
- Define objectives, strategy and goals
- Build a roadmap of key deliverables
- Develop and implement timelines
- Implement effective mechanisms to keep projects on track
- Serve as a project level SME, handling inquiries and developing action plans
- Assist with the preparation and dissemination of communications
- Report performance
- Cross Functional Network (such as Ecommerce Governance and Experience teams, product teams) related projects
- High potential TikTok Creator incubation
- Merchandising and matchmaking for top e-commerce creators
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Established experience in program or project management, consultancy, change management, or operations strategy
- Proven ability in owning projects from inception to implementation
- Experience in process optimization and scaling of efficiency initiatives
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional teams
- Data driven; an analytical thinker and experienced in using data and metrics to drive decisions
- Expert in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project
- Experience in Ecommerce or Tech organizations is preferred
- Experience working in matrix, and/or global organizations
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist
