The Workplace Experience Manager is the face of TikTok USDS in San Jose, helping to deliver exceptional guest experiences that brings the TikTok brand to life. The Workplace Experience Manager serves as a daily resource to employees, clients and business partners by effectively managing workplace needs and acting as an enthusiastic brand ambassador. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating best-in-class experiences and takes pride in creating a dynamic space to foster and nurture professional inspirations.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows an on-site work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 5 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. Responsibilities
Workplace Experience Management
- Create and maintain the overall workplace experience strategy and operating model, establishing the necessary processes and procedures to ensure effective and engaging day-to-day experiences for the largest office in our portfolio.
- Deliver a best-in-class employee and guest experience that is unique and brings the TikTok brand to life.
- Handle all guest and employee interactions with the highest level of professionalism and hospitality to ensure we are always exceeding expectations.
- Own the relationship with IT and HR to deliver the best onboarding experience for TikTok employees
- Partner with the OCEB (Organizational Culture Employee Branding) team to reorder new hire swag
- Oversee concierge services, conference room bookings, client office visits as well as client catering/event experience.
- Partner with Physical Security to ensure guests are properly approved by the security team in a timely manner consistent with visitor policy.
- Help identify processes and procedures that best serve the needs of the business and TikTok employees, while contributing to a fun and productive environment for the local team.
- Manage our presence on the Lark communication platform to ensure employees feel connected to an attainable resource.
- Ensure guests are properly approved by the security team in a timely manner.
- Partner and develop strong relationships with all key business partners including local Business leaders, IT, HRBPs, Finance, and Procurement.
- Execute the local food & beverage program.
- Partner with EHS for food safety issues, resolution and documentation.
- Manage and report on janitorial services, pest control, plants, shredding team output via IFM vendor.
- Collect input from business units to plan and organizing space moves and oversee neighborhood mapping to propose space solutions.
- Collaborate with outsourced shipping & receiving operations contractors and execute local mail operations, and provide coverage and support as needed.
Facilities Partnership
- Assist, when needed, daily walkthroughs to identify necessary improvements, repairs and enhancements and work with integrated facility management (IFM) team to fulfill requests.
- Collaborate with Workplace Operations Manager to ensure preventative maintenance log for all Facilities related matters is executed.
Culture & Engagement
- Manage social events and employee announcements in a manner that is consistent with TikTok values.
- Assist in office communications, as needed, in a manner that is consistent with TikTok standards.
- Partner with the OCEB teams to oversee logistics, planning and all facility related items for internal events that promote employee engagement, and create a sense of community.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in facilities, hospitality, retail or business operations.
- Self starter; requires minimal supervision, is proactive, and can report to a remote manager.
- Proficient in maintaining cooperative working relationships inside and outside of the organization.
- Must possess the ability to make sound and rational judgments.
- Must have a great can do attitude and willingness to complete the job.
- Ability to work onsite at the assigned campus Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Champions Diversity, Equity Inclusion efforts across all initiatives related to the employee's experience.

- Facilities or Building Operations & Management background is a plus.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $68640 - $92222 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
