What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical, Receiving - 1st Shift position at TileBar Brand?
Essential Duties
- Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measures item of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Customer facing role that requires professional communication with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues with shipments.
- Prepare, maintain, and record records of inventories, receipts, purchases, or deliveries to assess supply needs.
- Assist in unloading and unpacking products from trucks, processing return items and ensuring proper item storage.
- Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse.
- Occasionally assist with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Work Requirements
Education and Experience
- At least 1 year experience with receiving functions including RF scanning preferred.
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Precise data entry and reporting skills; attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Suitable computer skills required.
- Customer Service experience required.
- WMS experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, squatting most of the time.
- Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time.
- Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.; Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
