Director of Cybersecurity and Networking

Founded in 2006, Soho Studio/TileBar is a young tile company built in the 21st century, with forward-thinking business practices, which utilize technology and the web to run the most streamlined and efficient company in order to create savings and pass them on to the customer.

We're searching for a seasoned Director of Cybersecurity and Networking to lead our defenses and keep our digital world safe and sound. This isn't your first rodeo – you've got at least 10 years under your belt in the cybersecurity trenches, and you're ready to bring that expertise to our team in the heart of NYC.
You'll be the go-to person for all things cybersecurity and networking, leading the charge on everything from fending off phishing attacks and malware to building robust network intrusion detection systems and managing SIEM solutions. PCI compliance? You know it inside and out. We need someone who can not only keep us secure but also stay ahead of the ever-evolving threat landscape.
The pay range for this position is $140,00 to $160,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Cybersecurity Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with our business goals and risk tolerance. Worked with a team of technology professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Threat Management & Incident Response: Oversee the detection, prevention, and response to cybersecurity incidents on our internal endpoints and our external web presence. This includes everything from managing antivirus/antimalware solutions (like SentinelOne experience is a HUGE plus!) to diving deep into network intrusion detection and log analysis (Fortinet experience? Even better!).
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure our organization meets all relevant cybersecurity compliance standards, especially PCI. If you've been the primary driver of compliance efforts before, that’s a bonus! We need someone who can navigate the compliance maze and keep us on the right track.
• Technology Management: Manage and optimize our cybersecurity and networking technologies, including SentinelOne, Adlumin, Cisco, and Fortinet. You'll be responsible for making sure these tools are working together seamlessly to provide maximum protection.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of cybersecurity – we're talking phishing, antivirus/antimalware, network intrusion detection, SIEM, PCI compliance, the whole nine yards. This includes corporate infrastructure and web platforms such as Salesforce, Magento, or Shopify.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cybersecurity technologies and best practices. Specific experience with:
• SentinelOne
• Adlumin
• CrowdStrike Falcon
• Cisco MDR
• Fortinet Networking
• Log Analysis
• Facilitating Penetration Testing Exercises
• Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of PCI compliance requirements.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and drive cybersecurity initiatives across an organization.
