What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Studies Teacher position at TILLAMOOK SD 9?
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Hold an Oregon Teaching License through Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
- Hold or be able to add an endorsement in Social Studies.
- Working knowledge of technology and computer literacy is preferred.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Must be able to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccine or a medical or religious exemption form.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Report to work – August 24, 2022 (new staff orientation)
- 1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day contract for new teachers)
- 2022/23- $41,631 – $73,000 – depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement

- Total insurance benefits package of over $21,000 annually
- $500/month cash stipend if you have other insurance and waive district insurance

- TSD9 covers the full 6% for PERS retirement
