Tillman FiberCo is building a 100% fiber network to support the next generation of broadband services. Tillman FiberCo is a portfolio company of Tillman Global Holdings, a holding company focused on building premier digital infrastructure businesses globally.
Tillman FiberCo is looking to recruit a Network Operations Engineer. This role requires in depth experience in Network Operations, to include OSS, process, as well as extensive technical knowledge and experience within Carrier and / or enterprise level networks.
What will your job look like?
- Optimize the use of operational support systems / platforms / applications to improve network performance and enable employees to provision and maintain the network with minimal service interruptions.
- Ensure Stable and reliable ISP Network Services (Access / Distribution / Core)
- Respond with a sense of urgency to problems escalated to employees level.
- Network troubleshooting and in-depth fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Deployment and maintenance of networking monitoring, analysis and reporting tools.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Day-to-day network performance monitoring
- Assist with building processes around network operations, monitoring, and tools.
- Analyze and evaluate network changes, additions, and reconfigurations to prevent operational problems and ensure optimal network performance.
- Related duties as directed by management.
