**Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer - Data Engineering and Data Science
About the Role
This critical position ensures operational stability, performance, and cost-efficiency of our cloud-hosted data infrastructures serving both internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a team building scalable Data Engineering and Data Science infrastructure leveraging Azure cloud services.
- SUPPORT THE CLOUD ENVIRONMENT, including troubleshooting issues related to artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) pipelines, cloud networking, and cloud Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product, data operations, and technical leadership to align engineering activities with broader company goals.
- Expertise in cloud platforms, especially Azure, leveraging services like real-time data pipelines, Azure Data Lake, CosmosDB, Neo4j, and Azure AI/ML services.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Set up and manage effective observability solutions for data and platform services, ensuring operational excellence.
- Experience working on sensitive data projects with PCI/personally identifiable information (PII) compliance.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud security best practices and data governance frameworks.
