Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities :
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans and interventions.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their functional abilities.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and report back to the Occupational Therapist.
- Educate patients on using adaptive equipment and techniques for daily activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal guidelines in the field.
