As an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent, you will lead and manage multiple roofing projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in commercial roofing systems. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee commercial roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and up to the highest quality standards.
- Direct and mentor roofing crews, provide training, and enforce safety protocols.
- Conduct meetings with foremen, project managers, and leadership to align schedules and expectations.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety policies.
- Order, track, and manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring efficient use.
- Identify roadblocks, implement solutions, and adjust project plans as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs, track project progress, and manage field reports.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with roofing materials, tools, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Ability to life up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to travel between project sites as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Experience in a Superintendent or Supervisory role
- Experience in commercial construction
- Secondary education preferred but not required.
