Job brief: The Finance Executive serves as a member of the Tim Tebow Foundation leadership team helping to guide, guard and protect the Foundation financially. The FE is responsible for all financial operations including accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and financial planning and analysis. The FE will lead a team comprised of finance and administration, legal, and IT.
Responsibilities:
· Upholds principled, fiscally responsible, and legally compliant discernment unique to a faith-led non-profit
· Responsible for leadership of multiple areas of TTF including finance and administration, legal, and IT
· Participates as a member of the TTF leadership team responsible for providing financial updates, leading financial planning and ensuring effective stewardship of TTF assets
· Responsible for all TTF financial and accounting operations
- Recommends improvements to ensure the integrity of TTF’s financial information
- Oversees financial system implementations and upgrades
- Identifies and manages business risks and insurance requirements
- Hires, trains and retains skilled accounting and finance staff with the support of HR
- Assists in the evaluation of mergers and guides the due diligence process
- Works with the President on Board reporting and important resolutions for approval
· Develops annual budgets, ongoing forecasts, and variance analysis
· Establishes and maintains relationships with outside service providers including auditors, tax preparation, investment management and banking
· Responsible for the maintenance of all accounting policies and controls in accordance with GAAP
· Leads legal team, comprised of both internal and external resources, to ensure both compliance and asset protection
· Builds and maintains qualified IT function to support TTF’s vision and goals
· Oversees TTF office lease and FFE
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, accounting experience required
· MBA and/or CPA preferred
· 15 years of financial leadership, preferably in a non-profit
· Critical thinker, organized, and detail oriented
· Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excell skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· NetSuite experience preferred
