Job Description
The Plant Engineer is a key member of the Timber Products team, responsible for overseeing and developing manufacturing improvement projects to ensure timely completion within specified parameters. This role requires effective interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage heavy equipment garages and boiler facilities.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Engineering and possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. The candidate must have good listening and communication skills, a proven track record in leading people, and the ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operations within a safe environment.
This position also requires proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, as well as familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems processes and utilization.
