**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team at Timber Products Michigan, located in Munising. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing manufacturing improvement projects, ensuring timely completions within specified parameters.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Engineering and possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. You will be expected to provide guidance to the maintenance department on engineering concerns, manage the heavy equipment garage and boiler facility, and train and supervise assigned employees.
In this role, you will also be responsible for seeking bids for facility improvements, ordering parts, and coordinating planned projects during preventative maintenance shutdowns. Strong problem-solving techniques, project management skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word are required.
