What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Case Manager position at Timber Ridge School?
Timber Ridge is a year-round residential treatment center licensed and fully accredited school. Our employees transform the lives of emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescent boys between the ages of 10-21, with a goal of reuniting them successfully with their families and community. Our behavior support system includes trauma-informed care. Our proven residential programs focus on the whole student, emphasizing physical and emotional health, educational achievement, vocational interests, independence, and social interaction to help every child achieve his greatest potential. Our campus is located just 20 miles northwest of Winchester, Virginia.
$2,000 sign on bonus $1,000 to be paid out after successful completion of probationary period (appx. 60 days from hire date) and $1,000 paid out after six months.
Responsibilities: As a part of the treatment team, coordinate services designed to meet students' needs while serving as the principal contact between the school, family and placing agencies.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, social work or counseling is preferred. Will consider candidates with Bachelor's Degree and 15 or more graduate hours with related experience. Experience working with adolescents with Substance Abuse issues and Medicaid practices is preferred. Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
