We are looking for motivated, experienced Sales Consultants to greet and guide customers in their sales buying experience both over the internet and in the showroom.
The role of an Automotive Sales Consultant is to sell automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales. Automotive Sales Consultants are also responsible for providing customers with the truly exceptional buying experience and are expected to maintain an ongoing relationship with the customer following the sale.

- RESPONSIBILITIES: Automotive Sales Consultant
- Greet and guide customers as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and current offers.
- Complete extensive product training for each model the manufacturer offers
- Listen closely to clients' wants and needs
- Provide expert advice, helping align the right vehicle with the clients' wants and needs
- Provide world class presentations and demonstrations of our products
- Present quotes for vehicle acquisitions and purchases
- Liaise between department managers and clients
- Test driving vehicle with customer to demonstrate automotive features
- Good phone techniques along with email skills to follow up with customers in a timely fashion, using CRM
- Short and long term follow up with prospective and existing clients
- Support on-line customer through our Retail Management program
- Assist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales
REQUIREMENTS: Automotive Sales Consultant

- Automotive Sales experience is a plus

- Quality customer service skills
- Good sales and/or customer service track record
- Possess strong communication skills
- Persistent, competitive and have a good work ethic
- Focus on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
- Computer literate and have basic math skills
- Prior Automotive Industry Experience is NOT required but is a huge plus
- Prior general sales experience in any industry is required
- Professional appearance
- Strong presentation skills
- Valid U.S. Driver's License with a good driving record
- Steady work history with commitment to starting a career
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
