Job summary:
Timberline Adult Day Program, a Medicaid-certified non-profit 501(c)(3) is seeking a motivated, and community-minded Executive Director responsible for implementing the vision, mission, programs, policies, and day-to-day operations of the program. Timberline serves adults over the age of 18 who cannot safely live alone and can benefit from socialization and staying active mentally and physically. Participants include adults challenged with conditions such as
Parkinson’s disease, developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and dementia. Importantly, Timberline gives caregivers the opportunity to take a break from caregiving, while enriching the lives of their loved ones.
Position Overview:
- Strategic Planning; Annual Budget and Operating Plan, and multi-year planning.
- Program Development & Delivery; Providing quality services.
- Financial Management & Legal Compliance
- Administrative & Human Resources Management
- Fundraising, Community Relations, and Awareness
- Board of Directors Engagement & Development
Program services are Monday-Friday. Occasional evenings or weekends to meet community outreach and activities.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Gerontology, Business, or another related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience required, with adult daycare or related healthcare programming organization preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting with strong financial judgment.
- Non-profit management, two (2) years preferred.
- Desire to work with participants and their families.
- Excellent oral and written communications to effectively address staff, participants, caregivers, and community partners.
- Proficiency with business systems, including general computer programs, website and social media sources for public education and awareness.
- Experience with grant writing and donation solicitations preferred.

Must submit to a background check, including criminal history.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000 - $102,000 per year based on experience
