Position Summary
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator role is a full-time, non-exempt position which requires excellent organization and a proactive approach. This role will be responsible for a variety of marketing and communication tasks and will be resourceful, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, impeccable time management, and the ability to anticipate the needs of multiple areas within the Bank. Supporting events and projects will involve working outside regular business hours, including evenings or weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Community Engagement and Events:

  • Oversee the management of Community Room and Board Room facilities and host community groups.
  • Coordinate and manage internal events, including vendor management, invoices, catering, security coordination, setup, takedown, graphics, and associated logistics (e.g., microphones, tip money).
  • Plan and execute special events, such as CMU Homecoming, Chamber activities, and annual Timberline Bank holiday party. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, budget management, coordinating with vendors, and developing timeline and agenda.
  • Manage promotional products and customer appreciation gifts, ensuring timely selection, branding, and distribution to all branches.

Brand Management and Outreach

  • Craft and post messages on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), including holiday announcements and updates.
  • Serve as liaison to GROWL, including managing the L10 weekly meeting and obtaining risk management approvals.
  • Working with GROWL on all marketing and advertising initiatives, including but not limited to, new website, HUBSPOT integration and implementation, and advertising and event support for all 3 branches.
  • Develop, review, and distribute press releases and internal communications, ensuring alignment with branding and compliance standards.
  • Create and update print materials such as brochures, pamphlets, rack cards, and banners.
  • Manage digital communications, including website updates, on-hold messages, intranet content, and internal email signature graphics.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of closed signage, ensuring all branches receive updated materials
  • Develop graphics for TV screens, marquee signs, billboards, and other advertising platforms, ensuring proper rotation and updates.
  • Oversee photography needs, including employee headshots and event documentation.
  • Ensure all marketing and advertising materials comply with risk management and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate on internal controls related to marketing and advertising.
  • Graphics support for the Non-Profit of the Month program.

Operational and Administrative Support

  • Support employee events, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Supervise high school interns, providing clear communication, guidance, and task ownership opportunities.
  • Work with executive management to send thank-you gifts as needed.
  • Manage Bailey's Bar restocking and signage updates for both the coffee bar and bar areas.
  • Continuously update and maintain the Timberline Intranet, including Social Corner and Employee Events.
  • Participate in committees such as CRA, ERM, BCP, and L10.
  • Duties may expand as experience and professional goals are achieved.

Preferred Knowledge and Expertise

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in marketing, communications, or business administration is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create, manage, and distribute content across digital and print platforms, including social media, intranet, and email communication.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools and software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate events, manage budgets, and liaise with vendors effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills, with a collaborative and team-focused mindset.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and social media scheduling tools is preferred.
  • Capability to work efficiently on a computer for extended periods.


**Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered. In addition, Timberline Bank provides a variety of benefits to full time employees, including health insurance coverage, vision insurance, dental insurance, life and disability coverage, 401K plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
