Electrical Apprentice

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Electrical Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the electrical trade.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
• Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes to complete tasks.
• Use hand and power tools to complete electrical work safely and efficiently.
• Learn and apply electrical safety procedures and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues under supervision.
• Run and pull wiring, mount electrical panels, and install conduits.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
  
  

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

Education: High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience is required

Knowledge/Skills

• Enrollment in or willingness to enter an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and tools (preferred but not required).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
  
  

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

• The ability to be physically capable of performing those duties of the job that may require but are not limited to; standing, lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, sitting, and climbing.
  
  

Travel/Overnights

• TCI Serves all of New England so travel and overnight stays will be a requirement.
