Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes to complete tasks.
- Use hand and power tools to complete electrical work safely and efficiently.
- Learn and apply electrical safety procedures and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues under supervision.
- Run and pull wiring, mount electrical panels, and install conduits.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
Education: High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience is required
Knowledge/Skills
- Enrollment in or willingness to enter an electrical apprenticeship program.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and tools (preferred but not required).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
- The ability to be physically capable of performing those duties of the job that may require but are not limited to; standing, lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, sitting, and climbing.
- TCI Serves all of New England so travel and overnight stays will be a requirement.
