Job Description
Administrator Position for a busy Construction company:
Our Company Woman’s owned family construction business based in Bayshore, NY, is currently looking for an Administrator to assist with various tasks around our office. Construction background is a must. OSHA, DOT compliance and safety is highly desirable. QuickBooks experience is preferred. Being able to create and update Excel with basic formulas is desirable.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage and update all equipment and vehilce files
Management of OSHA, SST, SWAC certifications
Toolbox Talks
Process FedEx packages
Review and process daily work tickets sign in sheets and toolbox talks for payroll and billing
Create and maintain billing spreadsheets for all standard billing projects
Manage employee files for required training and certifications – notifications and follow up
Support overall fleet management
Manage vehicle registration and insurance compliance
Manage vehicle logs
FMCSA compliance
Handle PM tickets
Manage rental equipment cycles for return and equipment maintenance
Manage and update all equipment and vehicle files
Process all Transcom Files – driver files, PM tickets, vehicle requirements
Designated drug and alcohol employee representative
Process and manage tickets, violation and accidents with all required paperwork
Assist Controller on need to basis.

This position reports directly to the Controller.
Hours are: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday – Friday with the occasional Overtime. Punctuality is a must.
