What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cricket Harvester: Sunday-Thursday position at Timberline Fisheries Corp?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Cricket Harvesting is working closely with the crickets to process for packaging to deliver to shipping. Need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably, stand, stoop, bend, pull, lift and walk with no limitations.
Position is trainable, but need to be willing to work around insects of all kinds and work at a fast face to keep the lines moving for each team member to complete their task.
- Receive and follow instructions from the Cricket Leads and Supervisor
- Deliver grow boxes to the harvest rooms
- Remove crickets from grow trays to have shop vacuum clean out the unwanted bugs for processing.
- Package crickets to prepare for the Shipping Department
- Deliver cricket boxes to the Shipping Department
- Maintain a clean work area to ensure health of live product
Schedule is a fixed day shift schedule:
Sunday: 6a-2:30p with a 30 minute lunch
Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs: 8a-5p with 1 hour lunch
Fri/Sat: OFF
*Mon-Thurs will be sent home early if job is completed. Overtime goes to employees with great attendance and productivity.
