What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Associate (Full-Time, Monday-Friday) position at Timberline Fisheries Corp?
Job Summary
Timberline is America’s largest feeder insect farm. Our Shipping department are the last hands to touch our product before it’s shipped to customers all over the world and used to feed thousands of reptiles. As a Shipping Associate, you will be a part of order fulfillment, boxing individually packaged items to be added to customer orders. You might be a great fit in Shipping if you like a fast-paced, task-oriented work environment. To work in Shipping, you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day, stand, bend, squat, and move freely throughout the room for the entirety of your shift without limitations. You must be comfortable working around worms and other insects.
Job Duties
Some of the things that you will do as a Shipping Associate include:
- Use order invoices to box items for order fulfillment.
- Neatly stage orders to be moved to the next step in the order assembly process.
- Manage consistent flow of orders to ensure timeliness and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Lead or Manager.
Schedule
The schedule for Shipping operates on a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends required. Shipping Associates must be available to stay until all orders for the day are completed. This will sometimes require later stop times. The following are the regularly scheduled hours for the Monday-Friday schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Tuesday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Wednesday: 7:00 am-5:00 pm
- Thursday: 7:00 am-Orders Completed (approx. 5:00 pm)
- Friday: 9:00 am-4:00 pm
