Description

Monitor and maintain terrain features in Freestyle Terrain Parks and other locations as needed. Crowd supervision, feature maintenance and building, risk management awareness education, Freestyle Terrain etiquette and guest relations.

Essential Functions :

  • Install and maintain park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and rope lines.
  • Monitor terrain features by visual inspection and testing according to company policy.
  • Monitor and maintain terrain features and equipment in parks.
  • Assist with special events including but not limited to erection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Guest relations and education within the parks.
  • Assist ski patrol with guest injuries as needed.
  • Assist with trash removal.
  • Actively participate in RLK and Company's Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace
  • Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
  • Present a professional, quality image at all times.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • Must abide by all requirements set forth in Timberline Employee Handbook.
  • Must have advanced ski and / or snowboard skills as determined by management.
  • Must be able to ride 80% of features in Terrain Parks.
  • Must be willing and able to handle any Terrain Department needs as necessary.
  • Must be self motivated and able to work with Terrain Park crew and others.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • Must present a mature, professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Must be able to receive snowmobile training and be authorized to operate a snowmobile.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work in ski / snowboard gear, walking, standing for up to 8 hrs. at a time.
  • Must be able to keep up with pace of department / position demands.
  • Must be able to ride 80% of features in terrain parks.
  • Must be able to frequently lift a minimum of 50lbs .
  • Must be able to work in snow, icy, uneven, slippery conditions.
  • Must be able to shovel all types of snow in all types of weather conditions.
  • Previous experience working in a terrain park preferred.

    Must be at least 18 years old.

    Salary Description

    16-$17.50 DOE- Hourly
