Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Creative Art Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an engaging art curriculum, working with both children and adults, and leading classes and workshops that inspire creativity and artistic growth. This role requires a flexible, patient, and innovative individual who can cater to various skill levels and artistic interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop a comprehensive art curriculum for a range of skill levels and age groups, including children, teens, and adults.
Plan and lead a variety of classes, workshops, and special programs that cover different mediums (e.g., painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, etc.).
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that nurtures creativity and confidence in students.
Provide individualized guidance and instruction to help students improve their technical skills and artistic expression.
Collaborate with staff to schedule classes and ensure smooth execution of programs.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Stay up-to-date with current art trends, techniques, and tools, incorporating fresh ideas into lesson plans.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all materials and supplies are readily available.
Assist in organizing art exhibitions, student showcases, and community events.
Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and the community to promote participation in art programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching art to children and adults in a classroom or workshop setting.
Strong knowledge of various art forms, techniques, and mediums.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students of all ages.
Creative, patient, and adaptable, with a passion for fostering artistic expression.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for workshops and special events.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
