Position Overview:
Time Mission is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the technical success of our interactive mission rooms, providing both on-site and remote support for installations, maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various technical domains, including software, hardware, and network support. With a blend of travel and office-based work, the IT Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth technical operation of TimeMission experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Support (40% Travel):
- Installation Assistance: Participate in the installation of new TimeMission locations, ensuring all IT components, from software systems to hardware setups, are correctly deployed and operational.
- During installations, be on-site for a minimum of 2 weeks, followed by a week home, then return to the site for another 2 weeks.
- Short Interventions: Conduct short visits (1-3 days) to existing sites for troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades as required.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Verify the performance of all TimeMission tech (software, hardware, and networks) at the sites and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or after launch.
Office/Home-Based Work (60%):
- Room and Tech Prep: Assist in the preparation of tech components and rooms for new installations and upgrades. This may include configuring systems, pre-assembling hardware, and testing components before they are deployed to the site.
- Support Calls: Be part of the 24/7 support team, handling inbound support calls to resolve technical issues reported by TimeMission operators. Rotational availability for after-hours calls is required.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of installations, repairs, and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring that all actions are well-documented and can be referred to for future troubleshooting.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Software Support: Provide remote and on-site support for TimeMission's proprietary software, troubleshooting bugs, performing updates, and ensuring seamless operation of the game systems.
- Hardware Support: Troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of tech equipment, including PCs, servers, RFID systems, sensors, LED displays, and more.
- Network Support: Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems in TimeMission locations, ensuring secure, fast, and stable network connections for all operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
- Experience with remote and on-site technical support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Ability to travel frequently for installations and troubleshooting missions.
- Familiarity with RFID systems, game hardware, and network infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality technical support.

Education:
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
