Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of painting and labor, including industrial painting, remodeling, and fixture installation. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Painter/Laborer will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in all projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Perform paint and drywall tasks on various surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the scheduled time.
- Assist with frame carpentry and remodeling projects as needed.
- Arrive on site on time daily, ready to work, with all necessary tools and equipment
- Utilizing a geo fence application to keep track of hours accumulated during the week
- Productivity metrics based on square footage completed per hour. of 100 sqft an hour 200 sqft an hour
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Maintain quality standards and efficiency benchmarks, self conducting inspections to identify and fix defects or inconsistencies to avoid return trips. Goal of 0 return trips, maximum of 2
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting, drywall or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with Drywall Repair techniques is a plus.
- Experience in remodeling projects is desirable.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Proficient in industrial painting methods and techniques.
- Skills in fixture installation with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
