What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver- Waste Removal position at Timely Trash Services?
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated worker to join our waste management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and disposing of waste. During the week the job requirements are Mondays and Thursdays to collect trash from one community on 30A- start time is 5am and we expect this route to take approx 3 hours.
We are also hiring for Saturday trash collection. This is a seasonal job that is operated from now through the end of Labor Day. Every Saturday is required. Hours are 5am until the job is complete-approx 8-12 hours. Flexibility is key and need someone who is motivated to work long days and not complain :)
Duties:
- Operate trucks/trailers vehicles efficiently and safely
- Collect and load waste into the truck/trailer
- Transport waste to designated disposal areas
- Adhere to waste management regulations and safety standards
Experience:
- Prior experience in commercial driving or related field preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Experience operating rear loader trucks, dump trucks, or similar vehicles is a plus
- Knowledge of delivery driver responsibilities and load/unload procedures
