The Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to develop and maintain dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders, and support a strategic approach to business intelligence reporting.
This role is hands-on and will focus on dashboard development, stakeholder engagement, and KPI analysis to ensure our reporting delivers consistent, actionable insights across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep experience with BI tools, strong SQL skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
Experience with modern BI tools is essential, with a preference for candidates who have worked with multiple platforms and can adapt to evolving technologies.

- Work closely with department leaders to understand, define, and refine key metrics and reporting needs, ensuring dashboards provide meaningful and consistent insights.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making, ensuring dashboards are embedded into business workflows and used effectively.
- Collaborate with Data & Analytics leadership to ensure dashboards align with broader reporting strategies and company objectives.
- Design and optimize reports using modern BI platforms, with a focus on usability, clarity, and scalability.
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Partner with data engineers and architects to ensure dashboards are built on clean, governed, and scalable data models.
- Identify and implement best practices in dashboard design, data visualization, and self-service analytics.
- Provide training and support to business users to ensure they can effectively use dashboards to drive decision-making.
- While this role is focused on hands-on dashboard development, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to best practices, influence reporting standardization, and help shape how analytics is delivered across departments.
- 5 years of experience in business intelligence, dashboard development, and data visualization in a high-growth environment.
- Expertise in BI tools, particularly Looker (experience with additional platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma is a plus). While Looker is our primary BI tool, we aim to build a scalable reporting approach that remains flexible as our analytics needs evolve.
- Proficiency in SQL – able to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define reporting needs and develop dashboards that align with business goals.
- Strong understanding of business KPIs and how to structure reporting for different departments.
- Exposure to AWS environments (S3, Redshift) and dbt is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tell a story with data.

The salary range for this opportunity is $110,000 – $120,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process.
