New opportunity to join our winning team! Qualified candidates for this position will provide customer service support such as order entry/management, pricing, availability, and backlog reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support for a specific sales territory a:nd/or collection of key accounts
- Primary customer contact for order management and sales inquiries
- Generate quotes, assist where appropriate with product recommendations
- Work with other functions to manage the customer orders, expedite orders, and recover late orders
- Manage expectations between customers and TMS on lead times, expedites requests, and product availability
- Review, enter and acknowledge purchase orders
- Manage customer portals Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service
- Highly organized and personable
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Promote team atmosphere
- Familiar with ERP systems – preferably Oracle
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
